Invitation to Tender:
Livelihoods Effectiveness Evaluation, Sierra Leone
GOAL started working in Sierra
Leone in 1999. The programme currently engages in four broad
sectors; Education, Health, HIV and Livelihoods. These sectors
are combined to form an integrated programme and targets ‘off
the street’ children and commercially and sexually exploited
children, vulnerable slum dwellers, and rural communities with
inadequate access to water and sanitation.
GOAL wishes to evaluate how effective the non-formal education,
vocational training and small business management aspects of
the ICYWP are in creating improvements in the livelihoods of
children and youth and their families. It is envisaged that
the entire process, including fieldwork, documentation and presentation
of evaluation findings will be completed in not longer than
six weeks.
The evaluation is planned to commence on 1st September 2010
and a report submitted by 15th October 2010.
