Richard Donovan, the Galway born ultra distance runner, completed seven marathons on seven continents in a staggering time of 5 days 10 hours and 8 minutes. In total he has ran a total of 295km (183 miles) and has flown 43,000km

Richard dedicated his challenge to drawing attention to GOAL’s work with the vulnerable population of Darfur, Western Sudan. Everyone in GOAL congratulates Richard on his phenomenal achievement and thank him for raising awareness of the tragedy of Darfur.
