Show your true colours this October 3rd in aid of GOAL. GOAL Jersey Day, which is kindly sponsored by Jacob Fruitfield, is back again down the country preparing for a wash of colour on the first Friday in October. The idea behind Jersey Day is simple. Instead of wearing the usual uniform just put on your favourite team’s jersey for the day and make a donation to GOAL for the privilege. The money collected on Jersey Day goes towards helping some of the world’s poorest people so it’s a great way of combining a good cause with having a bit of fun. Whether it’s Man United, Tipp, The Kingdom or even a brightly coloured t-shirt from Summer camp, plenty of friendly rivalry is ensured as students and teachers alike show their true colours. And it’s not too late to sign up for this year’s event. You can register for the event online at www.goaljerseyday.com or by phoning GOAL’S Jersey Day team on (01) 2809779.
