GOAL UK FUN RUN 2007

On its 5th Anniversary this year’s GOAL UK Fun Run, took place on Clapham Common on Thursday 6th September.
After a washout Summer we were lucky to have great weather on the day and 200 GOAL runners turned out to jog, walk (and crawl!) their way around the 5K course.

Our fastest Woman was Christine Cully with an impressive time of 22.32 and our fastest Man and Race Winner was Colin Reilly who came in at 19.27 minutes.

After a great Race, all the Runners joined us in the
Alexandra Pub in Clapham, for a well earned drink to celebrate their efforts, both running & fundraising!
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters the Run was a great success – and all the money raised will go towards GOAL’s humanitarian work in Africa, Asia and Central America, where the organization is currently operating in 12 countries.
GOAL has responded to nearly every major natural and man-made disaster, working in more than 50 countries and spending over £240 million since 1977 – all on an exceptionally low administrative
cost.

With many thanks once again to all supporters of the 2007 GOAL UK Fun Run.
