GOAL Golf Classic 2006

Former Ireland rugby international and Saracens forward Shane Byrne was among the participants at the 2006's GOAL Golf Classic at Wimbledon Park Golf Club on July 13th. Fourteen teams took part and enjoyed a fabulous round of golf in glorious sunshine in South-West London.

The event was also attended by GOAL CEO John O'Shea and former GOALie Ian Walker who gave a presentation on his work with GOAL in Ethiopia and Malawi. Organised by GOAL supporters Sandra Drum and Claire Davies the event continues to increase awareness of GOAL's work in London while raising needed funds.
