United Nations

The United Nations has many organisations devoted to humanitarian aid and assistance. GOAL works in partnership with, and is supported by the following UN bodies:
UNICEF  - United Nations Children's fund

ECHO
European Community Humanitarian Office is not an "operational" organisation as such, but provides assistance through its partners - NGOs, UN agencies, etc. GOAL is such a partner of the European Community Humaniatarian Office.

Irish Department of Foreign Affairs
The Irish Government recognises global interdependence and the need for global responsibility. The Department of Foreign Affairs supplies GOAL with funds for its development and humanitarian work

British Department for International Development
The DfID is the Bristish government's department responsible for promoting development and the reduction of poverty. DfID supports the development work of GOAL.

USAID
The United States Agency for International Development is the US federal government agency that implements America's foreign economic and humanitarian assistance programmes. USAID supports GOAL's emergency humanitarian work.
