GOAL’s
Ethos
GOAL believes that every human being has the right to the fundamentals
of life: food, water, shelter, healthcare and literacy.
Throughout the developing world, people are dying for want of these
basic rights; GOAL's mission is to respond quickly and efficiently
with emergency supplies and life saving services.
We believe that the money we collect must be spent directly on
the people who need it most.
To do this, we keep our administration costs to a bare minimum.
We also believe it is essential to train local people and build
the capacity of local organisations so that they can continue to
provide healthcare and other services long after GOAL has left the
country.
